Breakwater

Breakwater Band Live in Concert

presenting their debut album:

New Ground

Breakwater will be touring their debut album throughout western Canada in early, 2017. They will be performing on Friday, March 10, 2017 at 7:30 pm at Memorial Hall, Silverton BC. Admission is by donation. $15 recommended for adults and $5 for kids.

Breakwater fuses traditional music with the progressive trends of popular styles. The band blends the calm waters of tradition and the turbulent waves of change with band leader Jeff Faragher’s mash-up arrangements of classical, Celtic and popular styles; injecting them with the virtuosic and improvisatory energy of James Desautels and Rob Maciak.

Breakwater has wowed audiences at events including the Kaslo Jazz Festival (Main stage 3 years running), the Kimberley Kaleidoscope Festival, the Selkirk Pro Musica Concert Series and the Nelson Street Festival. Breakwater has also toured and performed extensively throughout Western Canada.

In November of 2016 Breakwater recorded their debut album, which will be released in early 2017. The band’s versatility is showcased with their professional classical expertise combined with their experience in roots, folk and jazz.

This performance promises to be a unique and thoroughly engaging experience and will get the all ages audience up on their feet and moving to the music!
